JUNE WRAP-UP
June wow, what a month of reading is been. I've read so many good books and some amazing one.

I started this month looking into the universe, with The Martian, by Andy Weir. It's a book that has been on my TBR for a long time, but I never could bring myself to read it. When while I was shopping, at the end of May, I saw a really cheap copy and since it's a bestseller, it was time for me to discover what the hype was all about.
I didn't think I was gonna enjoy a science-fiction book but how wrong I was.
It was amazing reading about Mark Watney, the most hilarious and full of resource fiction-astronaut on earth. I would recommend this book to any reader, it's a MUST!

From one universe to another. In my second read of the month I dived in the city of Ketterdam, with Kez Brekker and his crew from Six of Crows, by Leigh Bardugo.
Review:
What a read!!! This book was amazing, I would as go as to compare the writings and the powerful characters to Victoria Schwab.
Loved it, I absolutely need more and now!

After reading something so great I needed a comfy-book, what better than a graphic novel from which was inspired one of my childhood greatest movie! Jumanji.
Beautiful drawings but the movie was ten times more exciting.

I was in the mood for some middle-grade story and I picked up Book Jumper, by Mechthild Glaser.
It wasn't really a smart choice I did have some hard time to get through it.
Review:
I would recommend it only to young teenager.

After that flop, I wanted something funny and simple, so I did suger-up with a bit of Contemporary/Romance in Geek Magnet, by Kieran Scott. I've already read two books by her, from the series He's so/She's so which I did quite enjoy.
Geek magnet was a chick-flick book, but that and a box of chocolate ice-cream was all I needed.

I must have been craving some affection this month, because I did read a lot of romance. One fairytale retelling of Little Red Hood, Crimson Bound
(full review:http://bookscrumbles.blogspot.it/2016/06/crimson-bound-review.html), by Rosamund Hodge; and Eleanor & Park, a lovely contemporary novel from Rainbow Rowell, who as yet to disappoint me.

I couldn't finish the month without reading the first book of a new series, from V.E Schwab: This Savage Song .
I did get it on depositary book as soon as it was out, once at home I had to read it.
It was sooooo goooood!! I love this writer, she is extremely good at crafting worlds and characters. If you never read something from her, either that you like fantasy or not, you should pick up one of her books.

I finished the month starting a new series that has been quite popular everywhere on the net: the Lunar Chronicles series, by Marissa Meyer.
So far? I'm digging it!
The first book was good but the second one is looking even better.
