The Year of The Rat by Clare Furniss - Review

The Year of The Rat
by Clare Furniss

I run into this book will I was looking for some bargains on book depository (where if you don't know I buy most of my book), it was cheap, I liked the cover and I was in need of a depressing teenage story. What I did not expect was the laughing out loud while reading it. It is in fact a depressed story but it's full of bittersweet humor!

The story tell us about fifteen years old Pearl, and her world that suddenly crumble to the ground when her mum dies after after giving birth to her baby sister, Rose.  Rose, the "RAT" ugly, wrinkled, reddish and super annoying. It is her fault her mum died, it's her fault the wonderful relationship Rose had with her step dad, the Rat's biological father, was destroyed, it's her fault for been the constant reminder of her mother's death. A mum that though is dead, seems not to have disappeared completely, but keeps on popping out of nowhere smoking, cursing, guiding.

The story is told across the year following Pearl's mum, drowns us in her inability to move on, in her constant search of an exterior enemy to let the guilt fell upon. It told with a bittersweet taste, quite realistic, following her in her process of grieving. The writer did wholly picture the hasty sentiment of the protagonist, she didn't try to embellish them, but they were put out there in their raw essence. I liked this fact the most, making the grieving process slowing pointing to a resolution of the events, did surely make it more realistic.

The writing style, the plot, and the character were all well made. I rather liked it!

The Girls Who Went to War by Duncan Barrett and Nuala Calvi - Review

by , in

The Girls who Went to War

If you leave the residence of the first english Prime Minister and get on Whitehall Road you will find yourself in front of a big monument dedicated to the woman of World War II. A big metal rectangular block, almost 7 meters high, in which we can see 17 different set of clothing running around its sides, symbolizing the different jobs women did undertake during the war.
Passing past it I always asked myself: who were those women? What did they do during the war time?

Knowing almost nothing about this matter, and having quite a lot of misconceptions on the role of women during those years, I gladly picked up this book when I saw it on depositary book. It also was a bargain for less than 5 euro, couldn't let this opportunity slip by.
The Girls Who When to War by Duncan Barrett and Nuala Calvi, tell the true stories of three english women who volunteered for the Army Auxiliaries Services in WW II.
As it's said at the back of the book, the writers tried to stay as faith full as possible to the original stories, but having as more than 70  years passed since the event, the memories of the veterans were understandably incomplete. As in those case they filled the blanks with research and their wits.

Jessie Ward, who joined the Auxiliary Territorial Service (ATS), Margaery Pott, who signed up for the Women's Auxiliary Air Force (WAAF), and Kathleen, who desperately wanted to join the Women's Royal Naval Service (WRNS), are the amazing and brave women we are presented in this book. They all joined the army feeling the need to do their bit for the country. The writers takes as into their life full of bravery and romance. Man and women working together in the Army did spring for sure the best and sometimes most heartbreaking love stories. And this three girl had their fare share.

The narration and writing style are quite plain, but the content did made up for this lack.
Even though I don't like historical book I enjoyed reading about this woman and it made my even more interested on this subject.

OCTOBER'S BREAK

by , in

- OCTOBER'S BREAK -

Has you might have seen in this lately I got caught up with university and left my reading behind. But that doesn't mean I'm not actually reading at all, I've just been really, really, really freaking slow.
So let's get in what I've been reading and what I'm looking forward to read next!

It's been a month since I started The Girls Who Went to War by Duncan Barrett and Nuala Calvi and I finally got around. I loved the subject so much that I'm writing my paper on it for my British History class.

I'm also reading Hamlet for class, and is been a pleasant surprise. I hated Shakespeare when I was in middle-school, he was over romantic for my taste and did write in an incomprehensible english, but picking it up again now I'm amazed at how much I actually love it. I will be sure to pick up more of his works in the future.

This october some amazing books came out that I was waiting for!

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets - Illustrated edition.

The Harry Potter business machine is unstoppable, whatever they do is going to be a success. With Harry Potter and The Cursed Child  still at the top of the chart as a bestselling and the spin-off movie coming out in the middle of november, the second book in its illustrated edition by Jim Kay it's going to be a hit!
It really looks like they want to publish the whole series and I'm more excited than ever for it, even though looking at the size of this two first book I'm not sure how they will manage with the fifth one.

The Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo

The first book of the series was mind blowing! I can't wait to discover what happen to our crew after pulling of an impossible heist and finding them self empty handed.
If you haven't read it yet and love adult fantasy novel, Six of Crows it's for you.

Wonder's series

In Italy did finally came out Shingaling the third spin-off from the Wonder book by R.J Palacio. I loved the original story not so much  The Julian Chapter, but I'm looking forward to the Charlotte and Christopher stories. Also they are small and quick to read!

That's  probably it for november put I always wish that I'll be able to read more books. What is your TBR for the month of november?

TEA TIME - HALLOWEEN SPOOKY BOOKS

by , in

HALLOWEEN SPOOKY BOOKS

Autumn did finally kick in and halloween is at the doors. So be ready to be spooked!

Halloween in Italy was adopted as festivity, so it's not such an important day. It's is definitely more celebrated in England or America, where every kids wait for this magical day where getting a sugar rush  and scaring people is allowed. I spent one halloween in England and that was the best of my life. There was all the mental preparation to it: carving the pumpkin, getting the sweets, creating a costume and finally when the day came I was ready to spook some kids.

I had so much fun as an adult that it became my favorite creepy-time of the year. So I thought it would be funny to celebrate it with you in a spooky book tag!
This tag is a mix of bits of different book tags, I just took the tips I liked the best from each and made some up.

  • CRAVE IT

What book would you crave and set on fire?

This is actually a hard question, first book are sacred for me and second I haven't read many bad book lately. I had to scroll down my goodreads book to see which book mada my more mad and the book that raised a killing vibe was Cruel Beauty by Hodge Rosamund. As a writer she has spectacular skills, but I still don't know how she does it in the end I always come to hate all her characters. So I wouldn't mind doing a little bonfire of it!

  • THE ZOMBIE
Which character would you likely bring back to life?

The character I would likely bring back to life is Dobby, from Harry Potter by J.K Rowling. I think his resurrection wouldn't corrupt the plot, because come on J.K was it really necessary to kill him and ruining my childhood??

  • THE WIDOW
Which book or series left you grieving?

Not to pick Harry Potter again I will say Me Before You by Jojo Moyes. This book emptied me of all my emotion and left wandering around for days mourning, before I was able to move on. I'm still not completely healed from this loss.

  • TRICK OR TREAT?
Pick a character who is a trick and one who is a treat?

Let's start with the latter one. Any character from Victoria Schwab will probably do the work, but the one that made me lick my finger was Victor from Vicious. I still have drool on my face everytime I think of him The fact that Victor is a malicious character, who has a quirky and unique idea of justice should make me think a bit more about my taste...
The character that was a trick for me is for sure Tamlin what a twist of character Sarah J.Maas did bring in the second book of the series. We go from a loving Tamlin to an obsessed stalker freak one, and she does it so smoothly, she is a master.

  • THE GHOST?
Which book you read had the most creepy ghost?

I don't read many horror  stories, but thinking hardly about it a lot of books I've read have ghosts or imagined/hallucinated  one in it. The winner for the most creepy ghost goes to Catherine from Wuthering Heights. Her figure already did give me the creeps alive, as a ghost she would have scared the crap out of me if I saw her in real life. While reading about her haunting spirit, I felt like Joseph, a superstitious old chump.
Just a bit under her comes King Hamlet's ghost, Hamlet's father (gosh did they not have fantasy with names!!), he was something else, quite disturbing.

  • JACK THE RIPPER
Which is the book or series that made you a compulsive buyer of anything related to it?

Alice's Adventure in Wonderland is my little, not so secret, obsession. I have 8 different copy of the book, one of which is in french and I don't speak french, doesn't matter since it's a beautiful copy, illustrated by one of my favorite artists Benjamin Lacombe. Apart from that I have different items related to Alice's world, and they are never too much!

  • THE DOPPELGANGER
Which character would you like to be for halloween night?

Kell from A Darker Shade of Magic has a magic cloak with infinite pockets full of smuggled tickets, a black eye and black magic running in his veins. I would pay to be his doppelganger for a night, and come on who wouldn't like a cloak that makes you fit in any world?

This were my bookish halloween curiosity. Do you have more bookish spooky questions? Do you suggest some peculiar reading for halloween? Leave a comment and let me know!

Into The Wild 2007- BOOK VS MOVIE

by , in

INTO THE WILD

directed by Sean Penn

John Krakauer's Into the Wild , which I read with a fascinated dread, was one of the best reading of this summer. Chris McCandless's wanderlust, desire to live by the nature's laws and his rebellion against the system, have been for me inspiring and mind opening.

In April 1992 Christopher McCandless hitchhiked alone to Alaska into the wilderness of Mt.Mckinley, four months later his decomposed body was found by a party of moose hunters in an abandoned bus in the forest, the same one we see on the movie poster. How a young man from a well-to-do family came to die in the desolate wilderness of alaska is the story Krakauer tries to portray, in the most truthful way, in Into the Wild.

The book is beautifully written and keeps the form of a big newspaper's article. In the movie Sean Paul stays close to Krakauer's reconstruction of events. We find again Emile Hirsch in the role of Chris, he was able to embody wholly the character's ideals, his rebellion against his parents (William Hurt and Marcia Gay Harden) and the consumeristic society they represented. As the narrating voice of the movie we find Chris's sister (Jenna Malone), which felt, as we read in the book, like the only person he had a real and natural bond with.
McCandless adventure was documented also thank to the people he meet during his idyllic journey, but as in the book it was only a collections of interviews and postcards, in the movie the experience and encounter with them is embodied by the actors strong performance. The strongest connection he was able to make was with Ron (Hal Holbrook), an old man who began to think of Chris as of a grandson. He will be one of the last person to meet Chris before his rejection of civilisation for the wildness of Alaska. He left a strong impression in all the people he meet, he was a brilliant men, hamletic in some ways to sensible and too much of a thinker to be able to live in our corrupted society.
Chris renouncing his old identity, he rename himself Alexander Supertramp, in conformity of his new way of life. Tramping around, seeing the world, meeting new people, with time made him feel strong and more comfortable with himself and his ability, so much that it took it to extreme.

His story was beautiful and full of meaning, on itself alone would have been able to make a wonderful movie, but the stunning photography, the amazing performance and the unique directing style made this movie one of the best I ever seen. I loved it as much as the book!

So my final vote for BOOK VS MOVIE is: EVEN!!

If you haven't seen it already you totally should check it out! In the meanwhile here is the trailer :

Coast (Kick & Push 2#) by Jay McLean - Review

by , in

Coast (Kick & Push 2#)

by Jay McLean

Last summer I was on the hype for romance and young teenage love, and then is when I came across Kick, Push by Jay McLean, it was my first book from her and also my first book about teenage parenthood. I liked it quite a bit so when I saw the sequel I had to read it.

In her first book we are introduce to the life of Josh, who found himself a single father at the early age of 17, after his girlfriend pop out the baby and stood them both up. After also his family turns their back to him, Josh is left with no one. He has nothing. But he's determined to take care of his son, Tommy, no matter what.
Thanks to the help on a older woman, who becomes family, and his friend Hunter he will be able to make it back on track.
The years pass, and now Tommy is 3. Josh is finally in a better place than before, and that's when he meets Becca and falls in love with this quite beautiful girl. But Becca's past is complicated, she is a wracked soul.

Their story was so romantic and cheesy, that I rolled my eyes a lot while I was reading it, but I gotta give it to Jay Mclean that she is a damn good writer! And  her second book did live up to it.
In Coast we pick up from where we left Josh and Becca, broke and apart, Josh is finally making a name of him self in the skateboard industry, and Bacca is trying to face her past, fears  and built her future. If you are familiar with the skate board dictionary, to coast means to roll or glide on a skateboard, specially after a landing when you kick your leg forward and push backwards on the ground to propel the rider forward. So Josh and Becca are finally going to coast together, but thing are not going to be that simple.

Jay McLean writing is perfect and utterly addicting. Even though the plot is nothing spacial, I cared about the characters deeply, more than anyone I cared about Tommy and Josh relationship that did still the scene in the first book.
I liked this series quite a lot I'm probably gonna give it a try to her other books.

One Plus One by Jojo Moyes - Review

One Plus One

by Jojo Moyes

After reading Me Before You Duology (1#, 2#), I couldn't wait to get my hand on another book from Jojo Moyes, luckily there are more than a few out there. I picked up One Plus One randomly between hers books, since she already conquered me, and I was not disappointed. Her writing style is outstanding and as before she creates an original story very fast to read.

Jess has been struggling financially as a single parent, with two jobs and two children, she lives by the day. To give a chance of a brighter future to her daughter Tanzie, she will get in the car on an idyllic trip with her family, her dog and a stranger willing to help.
Ed Nicholas's life is about to be turn upside-down, as if this wasn't enough he will get involved with a woman whose life seems even more chaotic.

Jess and Ed are totally different persons but they fit together perfectly, they are both nice and funny to read about. I loved reading about them and their crazy family. Jojo Moyes did again enlight with her entertaining writing, how family, now a days, can be of a lot of messy kinds. Like Jess one, she is trying to sustain and raise her daughter and her ex husband's ex girlfriend son. It might be not the classical family but they love each other, and that's what makes them one.

The narration is alternated between the characters, giving you a more whole perspective on the story. The writing is as always flawless and engaging, I couldn't stop thinking about the book, it really got me into it. Any suggestion?

I can't wait to pick up something else from Jojo Moyes, becouse until now I was not disappointed.

4.5/5 STARS

The Giveaway to win a copy of After You by Jojo Moyes is almost close so you must hurry up, it will close on the 24 of September.

ITALIANO:

The Julian Chapter (Wonder #1.5) by R.J Palacio - Review

by , in

The Julian Chapter

a Wonder Story

by R.J Palacio

If you did read Wonder , one of the most controversial character of the book was Julian, the bully. His story needed a bit more space than a single chapter, that's why R.J Palacio decided to write this short-story on the main antagonist of the book.

Julian didn't help making Auggie Pullman's school life any easier since he got into his school. He hates him, he treats him like he has the plague, but why does he do it? He is just an horrendous kid or is there something more behind it?

The writer put us in the position of seeing the world with the bully's eyes, a peculiar perspective we are not always used for. I did appreciate her effort, but I wasn't able to understand or relate with Julian in any way. I simply didn't like him and couldn't justify his actions and even less his parents, whom I hated to the core.Given the incompetent parents his only chance of redemptions comes from the grandma, who with a moving story, makes him understand his mistakes.
It was interesting reading his perspective but even if the writer intended to redeem him she did it in the classic fairytale like way, where everything is changes in a blink of an eye. I hope it will be more interesting to read about the other to characters: Christopher and Charlotte.
I still think this books have a perfect educational purpose, they should recommend this reading in  every school.

3/5 STARS

ITALIANO:

Me Before You (2016) - Book Vs Movie

by , in

Me Before You (2016)

directed by Thea Sharrock

I loved the novel by Jojo Moyes so much, it made me cry lakes and I wasn't expecting anything less from the movie!

It was realised on the 3rd of june in the USA but we had to wait until the 1st of September to watch it in the italian's theater.
With as our main characters the beautiful Emilia Clarke, mostly famous for showing quite a lot of her in the tv series Game Of Throne, and the amazing and brilliant Sam Claflin, who appeared in some of my favorite major productions, such as: Hunger Games, Love, Rosie, The Riot Club, and the mini tv series The Pillars Of The Earth, this movie with a great soundtrack (Not today by Imagine Dragons) had everything to be stellar.

The romantic drama adaptation of Jojo's Moyes Me Before You is directed by Thea Sharrock, who took a rather simple direction for the filming. The whole film has pretty standard techniques, not showing any particular kind of new takes, instead the transitions between one scene and another are quite harsh, apart from the last one where we have a fluid transition from Will's last scene to Lou in Paris. The use of the drooping leaf was poetic and romantic, really beautiful, it reminded me of the flying feather in Forrest Gump.
Regarding the plot the movie stayed pretty faithful to the book, there weren't any big changes, apart from having to cut a lot of scenes, for the obvious reason that is impossible to fit a whole book in a movie, so I'm going to be kind and forgive them. Also the characterization of our two characters was kept the same as in the book. Lou with her over-positive attitude about life, was portrayed quite well by Emilia Clarke, even though I think she exaggerated with the facial expressions, making Julia Roberts smile be put into shadows over her 360 degrees smile. I loved all her quirky clothes and beautiful accessory; Jill Taylor, the costumist, clearly did her homeworks, making Lou as colorful and unique as I did imagine her while reading the book. It also seems that the actress herself was able to pick up the accessories, earrings and stuff for her outfit making the character even more hers.

Sam Claflin acting was right on spot, I'm not just say this becouse I have a soft spot for the actor (who wouldn't?!), but having his act restricted, for this role, to his facial expressions and voice, he did a brilliant job, proving again that he can fit any role given.
There is not so much space for the second characters in the movie, although I would like to enlight Janet Mcteer for playing the role of Will's mother fantastically, only to uphold all her career's awards.

It's overall an ok movie who didn't leave up to the book, pushing in the end for a sloppy and overseen romantic comedy. where there was instead a lot to make it unique and different as it comes out of the book. I was still deeply moved by the movie, but I think It was becouse I'm really attached to the story, I mean I was already crying when I first saw the trailer, so it was an easy win.

I would definitely pick the book has the winner over the movie, there is no competition!

What do you think? Which did you like best, movie or book?

ITALIANO:

Into The Wild by Jon Krakauer - Review

by , in

Into The Wild

by Jon Krakauer

Last month I craved an adventure so I picked up Wild by Cheryl Strayed and loved it, it made me realize that I haven't read a lot of books about real adventure and people's experiences in the wild, so here I am again with a book to feed my wanderlust: Into The Wild by Jon Krakauer.

The book is an expansion of a 9.000-word article by Krakauer on Christopher Johnson McCandless titled "The Death of an Innocent", which appeared in a issue of Outside magazine, in 1993. Krakauer did pieced together Chris's story, thanks to the object and dairy the boy left behind and the people he meet during his vagabond years.
In April 1992 Christopher McCandless hitchhiked alone to Alaska into the wilderness of Mt.Mckinley, four months later his decomposed body was found by a party of moose hunters in an abandoned bus in the forest, the same one we see on the cover of the book. How a young man from a well-to-do family came to die in the desolate wilderness of alaska is the story Krakauer tries to portray in Into the Wild.

The book shows very well how Chris wasn't a naive middle class boy who went into the wild unprepared, but how even thought the boy wasn't an expected of survival, he had managed to live homeless and penniless for more than two years and if it wasn't for some unlucky circumstances it would have been easily able to come back alive from Alaska to.

(Christopher McCandless in front of the bus in which he was found dead.)

"Don't settle down and sit in one place. Move around, be nomadic, make each day a new horizon."

Reading about this clever young man who had such high ideals, was quite inspiring. His way of living life was totally off-beat, he was a romantic, overconfident, an idealist but never naive.
Krakauer writing style is a reporter's one, simple, direct, with interviews and document posting, it felt original and real, I was really impressed with it and came to like it quickly.

I liked this document book quite a lot and I will see the movie as soon as possible.

ITALIANO:

August Wrap up

by , in

The month of August it's been a slow one for my reading, I couldn't find enough time to stop and relax with a book so I got to read only 5 books, but I'm quite happy with them since they were some amazing ones!

This month I've been craving adventure, having to work in summer without any holidays insight near it's one cruel punishment, you get to see on facebook all this exciting place your friend are visiting while you are stuck at home; so I had to settle for book adventures.

I feed my wanderlust with Wild: From Lost To Found On The Pacific Coast Trail by Cheryl Strayed

I loved it! It was amazing reading about Cheryl Strayed and her monstrosus backpack adventure on the PCT. America sure is a land that can satisfy anyone with her scenery and wild nature, from the Mojave Desert through the cold mountains of Sierra Nevada, her journey was beautiful to read about. Got to say that reading about adventure only made me crave it more!

After the hike I settled for  a best selling that was highly recommended to my by a friend, I'm talking about Wonder by R.J Palacio.

It's a extraordinary story about an extraordinary kid. I never read a book before on the Treacher-Collins Syndrome and Wonder did push me to be more curious about it. It is amazingly written and able to make you empathize with every characters.
It's a book that should be read in every school with and educational purpose.

Moving on with my reading I could finish the month without some fantasy.
I started the Lunar Chronicle series by Marissa Meyer a couple of months back so I had to read also the spin-off on Levana.

Fairest (Lunar Chronicles #3.5), it's been quite an interesting novel on our evil queen past, but it was not on the same level as the other books in the series.

And then it was time to pick up the final book of a duology that I read last year and loved. The Rose and The Dagger by Rehnée Ahdieh.

Ahdieh totally ups her game for this epic finale. There is more magic, more adventure, more betrayals and some amazing plot-twists. It was the perfect end for this series, loved it!

I had to finish this month on the sound of trumpets and what better way to do it if not with the 8th story of the amazing Harry Potter saga.

Harry Potter and The Cursed Child (part 1&2) is the original script from the play written by Jack Thorne. It's not  a novelization, it's the rehearsal draft of the play, so hold your horses it's not a book. There is little description of the characters and locations you will have to fill in the gaps with your previous knowledge of the series and your imagination. I was a bit disappointed by the whole plot and the new characters. I don't consider it as part of the saga but more as a fanfiction. If you wanna read it have first a look at THIS POST, no spoilers don't worry.

So this where my reads, what about you? Did you read some amazing books that you would like to recommend to me?

ITALIANO:

The Rose and The Dagger di Rehnée Ahdieh.

The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins - Review

by , in

The Girl on the Train

by Paula Hawkins

This was one of the few thriller I've ever read, it's not really my genre, but after reading The Girl On The Train I might include it more often in my future reading. It was engaging, full of suspense and beautifully written.

The story is mostly told by Rachael point of view, but also by the other two women in our story.
Rachel Watson is a 32 years old woman who lives in London and likes to drink a bit too much. She still can't accept the end of her marriage, evermore since her ex husband, Tom, married with Anna, the woman she was cheated on with. She also did recently lost her job thanks to her little addiction to the bottle, but unable to confess the true to her friend and house mate, she still commute to London every day with the train. On the train, she got used to watch out of the window looking to the people outside, she particularly took notice of a couple living in the same suburb area she used to live with her ex. Jess and Jason, or at least that what they are called in her fantasy are the "perfect couple". In real life their names are Megan and Scott Hipwell, but she will come to know that only when Megan makes it into the paper because of her disappearance. From there how the life of this three women will get even more tangled together.

The story was well written, for the whole reading I was soo tempted of just taking a pic at the last pages to discover the culprit.
Trusting the story to an unreliable narrator was a genius idea, you can't trust what she tells, so guessing was really difficult, for a while a kept on shifting my suspect until I settled on the one that felt fishy, but I wouldn't have put my wager on it.
Every character of the story is horrible, they all own obsessions, flaws and secrets. I couldn't like any of them, nevertheless I loved the book, I think that Paula Hawkins ability to portrait such disgusting character is what makes this book amazing.
Hawkins style is quite commercial and easy to read, that's also what made this a global bestseller!

I would highly recommend it, it's a must-buy!

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J.K Rowling, John Tiffany & Jack Thorne - Review

by , in

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

by J.K Rowling
 John Tiffany
 Jack Thorne

If you have been growing up with Harry, Ron and Hermione, you are probably still waiting for your Hogwarts letter that, for sure, got lost in the mail.
As a BIG fan of the series I've been waiting for a sequel forever! Between fear of being disappointed and excitement I pre-ordered Harry Potter and the Curse Child, months before the publishing. I want in it without knowing anything about it, even though spoilers were available everywhere, I've been a good kid and I resisted every temptations. Maybe that's what I did wrong.
I published a post about the things you should know before reading it, you can find it HERE.

Since It's hard to talk about the plot of the play without spoiling bits. I will just give you the start point of the story. The story picks up from Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows epilogue. Nineteen years after the Battle of Hogwarts our heroes, now grown up, are at platform 9 3/4 to send off their kids. From there the story skips forward to Albus, Harry's kid, forth year of school. The play concentrated itself on the relationship between father and son, Harry and Albus.
I'm just going to give you some clues about the plot: Time-turner, Cedric, Triwizard Cup.

Let me say I was really happy to see our heros back, some even from the dead, and was surprised with the new characters. I loved Scorpius Malfoy, he is a good mix of intelligence and humor, on the other hand  Albus Potter felt obnoxious to me and as stupid as his father, sorry Harry.
The plot was kind of boring and felt like a bad fanfiction from start to finish. After finishing the Harry Potter series we all said good byes to the characters or made up our own story, I would have like to see their kids in Hogwarts, playing quidditch, going to potion class and making some mischief, we don't get any of that again someone is messing with magic to bring back You-Know-Who.

I think that most of my problem with this book was in fact that it isn't a book, but a play the only way to judge it honestly is to see it on stage. As a read it was not so entertaining.

ITALIANO:
